Narrowr is a place for people who love great content. Every member can share just one link per day.
The aim is to create a platform, filled with high quality content that is free from distractions and allows people to take back control over their feed. By allowing people and publishers to share just one link per day, everybody is forced to think about what they want to share or in other words, what other people might enjoy reading.
1. Share links to content you love
2. Follow people who post interesting stuff
3. Enjoy and discover great content
Social networks and news websites these days tend to flood people with information, making it hard to find real gems in all the noise. Feeds are curated by algorithms and designed to keep you hooked for as long as possible. On top of that, they are built to make profit by selling user's data or showing them ads instead of focusing on the content and how people can actually find and consume content that is relevant to them.
Narrowr tries to make it easy for individuals and publishers to create small and big circles of likeminded people, who care about the same topics. We don't care about getting rich and we don't care about your data either. We believe people are willing to pay a small amount of money (about the same as one coffe a month) to find a place, they can trust to stay free from ads and other bad practices. A place that is built around them and the content they care about.
The original idea of the web was that it should be a collaborative space where you can communicate through sharing information.— Tim Berners-Lee
